Today’s second-graders aren’t easy to fool. “Wisconsin,” a youngster named Luke said when the students in Mrs. Julie Warren’s classroom were asked where in the world Miss Amara was. Luke was the second to volunteer an answer, and he was right.
In 2011, Preco Inc. purchased the 20,000-square-foot former Eagle Packaging facility in St. Croix Business Park. The firm chose Hudson after visiting over 20 sites just in the Twin Cities market and more than 30 regionally.
The Lake Mallalieu Access is more noticeable to passersby these days. The dead trees and invasive brush that partially blocked the view of the access and the lake from Second Street have been removed.
Hudson will again be well-represented at this year’s Destination Imagination Global Competition later this month in Knoxville, Tenn.
