In an emotional recap of Grimm’s journey from his audition in Pittsburg to his solo performance in Las Vegas, American Idol viewers traveled with him the whole distance Wednesday night.

The judges reminded Grimm they are looking for a singer and confidently told him he has what it takes.

Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez agreed with fellow judge Randy Jackson about Grimm's considerable talent.
